TO  KIMUYU  AND  DR.JOHN  FOUNDATION  COMMITTEE  KANSAS  CITY  U.S.A 

VISITATION  TO SPONSORED  CHILDREN  OF  KIMUYU  AND  DR. JOHN  FOUNDATION   BY PASTOR   JACINTA   KYALO.

AIM

To  meet   with  the  guardian /children and know  the  challenges  they  are  facing .I also wanted  to  strengthen them  with the  word of  God.

  1. Kimeu Mutua, sponsored by Rick and Ellen Wilcox and family

I left at home at 8.ooam and visited the above child. I arrived   here and found her mother.  The child had gone to school. He is 15years old. He is in form one at Kavumbu secondary school. He is average, his health is good.  The mother is a casual laborer and she told me that he is facing challenges in paying school  fees . She had five goats and she has sold two to support the child as fees and uniform is concerned. She told me that she has paid all   the fees for first term and she is very sure that her child is going to study through God’s guidance. On side of the garden they had planted, the crops were doing well but because of little rainfall they have not harvested anything. The house is fair. In our area it is very dry. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared of God from Philippians 1; 6 .

I arrived here and found her mother. The child had gone to school. She told me that the child is fine doing well in class. She is 11years old. She is in grade five at Kyaitha primary school. Her health is good. She was in position five with 289 marks `. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. On side of the garden   , they will not harvest anything .The widow is a casual laborer. I encouraged the mother to continue trusting upon the Lord. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from John 2; 1-11.

3.Mercy  Ndunge, sponsored by Kay Hopkins and family

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. Their home is situated at Mbooni  west Makueni  district.  I arrived here and found her grandmother. The child had gone to school. She told me that the child is fine .She is 14years old .She is in grade eight at St Mary’s primary school. She was in position six with 270 marks .Her health is good. The goats are well kept, the house is fair. On side of the garden, they had planted maize and beans but because of little rainfall they have harvested very little. I requested the grandmother to encourage the child to study very hard because of her fourth coming exam. I had a wonderful time with the grandmother. Before  I left , I  prayed  for their  needs  and we shared  the word of God  from   Mark  6;35-44

I left at home at 8.00 am and visited the above children. I arrived here and found their mother who is a widow. The children had gone to school. I was welcomed in the house. Wavinya  is 16 years old. She is in grade eight at Mamiloki primary school. She is average, her health is good. While Muuo  is eleven years old. He is in grade two at kyeenthei   primary school .His health is good but he has a mental problem. There is no improvement of the house .The widow has six children and they live in   a single room. They sleep on the floor, they have no bed. The goats are well kept. On side of the garden, she told me that she had harvested 10kg of beans and on side of maize they have not harvested anything.  I encouraged the mother to take care of the children especially the girls. Before  I left , I prayed  for their  needs  and we shared  the word of God  from  Psalm  17;6-7

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found her grandmother. The child had gone to school. Kelvin is 18 years old.  He is in form three at Kikelenzu primary school.  He is average, his health is good. The family attends church at A.I.C Ngaa where by kelvin is the choirmaster. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. On side of the garden they have not harvested anything. Before  I left , I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word of God from  Psalm 31; 1-2 .

I arrived here and found Norah’s mother together with her grandmother.  The child had gone to school. Norah’s mother is H.I.V positive and she attends clinic every month, her health is poor. Well, the child is 14 years old. She is in grade eight at Mamiloki primary school. She is average, her health is good. The family attends church at Mamiloki Catholic Church .Norah is a Sunday school teacher. The house is fair, the goats are well kept .On side of the garden, and they have not harvested anything. Before  I left , I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word of  God  from  John  9;1-4

I  left  at home  at 8.00am and  I visited  the  above  child . I arrived  here  and  found   her mother  who  is not  normal  and  their  grandmother. The child  had  gone  to school .Here   there is improvement  of the  house  , They  told  me   that  it  was  repaired   by their   brother  in law and it is very nice.  The goats are well kept. Well, the child is 11years old.  He is in grade five at Mamiloki   primary school. She is   average, his health is good.  On   side of the garden, they had planted maize and beans but because of little rainfall they have not harvested anything. I had  a wonderful time  with  this family  .I encouraged  them to  trust upon the lord .Before  I left, I prayed for their needs  and  we shared the word  of God  from  Mark 2; 1-12 .

I arrived   here and found her grandmother. The child had gone to school. She told me that the child is fine .She is in grade six at Mamiloki primary school. She is average. Her health good.  On side of the garden, they have not harvested anything.  They live in a single room. They still sleep on the floor. The goats her well-kept.  .Before I left , I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word  of God   from  Psalm  88;1-3.

I left at home at 8 00am and visited the above child. I  arrived  here  and found   the child  together  with her grandmother,  but the  child was still sleeping  on his bed .  I was welcomed in the house.  The child is still weak    .He his 17years old. He cannot talk or walk .i just encouraged the grandmother not to give up.   She told me to pray for her. The house is fair, the goats are well kept.  On side of the garden, they will not harvest anything. Before I left, I prayed  for their needs and we shared  the word of God  from  Philippians  4;4-7

11.Mwendwa   Wambua, sponsored by John, Linda and Sam Nelson

I arrived here and found her grandmother. She was looking after the goats. The child had gone to school.  She told me that the child is fine and he is doing well in school. He is 17 years old. He is in form three at Kikelenzu secondary school. He is average, his health   is good. The grandmother told me that the child has a problem of school fees. The goats  are well kept , the house  is fair  but on side of the garden , they  have  not harvested  anything  because  of little  rainfall.   The grandmother is a casual laborer. Before  I left  from this house I prayed  for their needs  and  we shared  the word  of God  from   Mathew  7;7-12

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child.  I arrived here and found her father. The child is 16 years old. She is in form three at Muthetheni girl’s high school. She is average, her health is good. The father is a casual laborer.  I can  say the lord has been  so faithful to   this child  because  she is in boarding  school  , the fees is very high  according to their  standards  but thus  far she has no balance  . We  thanked  the lord  for his provision   and  I encouraged  him to continue  trusting  upon  the Lord  for the remaining  1and ½ years .  The father is saved, the child is also saved and they all attend church at A.I.C Ngaa.  The house  is fair , the goats  are well kept ,On side  of the garden,

They have not harvested anything. Before I left , I prayed  for their  needs  and we shared  the  word  of God  from  Psalm  103;1-2.

I   left at home    at 8.00am and visited the above children. I arrived here and found their grandmother. The children had gone to school. I was welcomed in the house. This mother is very active    on her garden. She had planted maize and beans, they were doing well but because of lack of enough rainfall, she did not harvest anything. Well, Wanza is 16 years old. She is in form two at Kasolongo   secondary    school. She is average, her health is good.  While muia  is 18years old.  He has joined polytechnic .He is taking a course on dressmaking. His health is good.  I had a wonderful time with this grandmother.  I encouraged her to take care of the children and to encourage them with the word of God. Before  I left, I prayed  for their needs  and  we shared the  word of God from  Mark  8;22-25

I left at home and visited the above child.  Their home is situated at Makueni  district.  I arrived here and found her grandmother. The child had gone to school.   The climate here is very hot and dry; it is just like our place   it has not rained. But we should not  loss   hope  God loves  us so much .Well  the  child is 10years  old .He is in grade  four  at Mavindu   primary school. He is average, his health is good. The child stays with her grandmother. His father is alive but she is always drunk. Before I left, I prayed  for their needs  and  we shared  the word  of  God  from Mark  1;40-45

I  left at home at 8.00   and visited  the above  child ,  I arrived  here  and found  her  mother . The child had gone to school.  This mother is a widow, and she earns her living through casual laboring. The lord has blessed her with five children.   Bahati  is 13years  old ,she is in grade  six  at Kasolongo primary school  .He is  average ,her  health  is good .On side of the    house , there  is no improvement   but it  is  fair ,  It is two roomed  .Some of the  children sleep  on the   floor . Well on side of the garden, they will not harvest   anything. The goats are well kept.  I had a good time with this widow. I encouraged her to trust upon the Lord and she will not be ashamed. Before  l  left  I prayed  for their  heeds  and we shared  the word of  God  from   Mathew   15;21-28

I  left at home at 8.00 am  and visited  the above  children , I arrived  here and found  their mother . The children had gone to school.  I was welcomed in the house .How happy was this mother? She really  appreciated  for   what you  did  for her  by  repairing  her house which was  almost  falling  down .She says  may God bless  you abundantly  .The  family is  enjoying  to stay and sleep in a good house  may honor  and glory  be to the Lord. Well, Mutua is 15 years old. He is in form one at Tututha secondary school. He is average ,  his health  is good .While  Musau  is 12years  old  ,he is in grade  six  at King’atuani  primary school . He is average, his health is good. The goats are well kept…  On side of the garden they have not harvested anything .Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Mark 6; 45-52.

I   left  at home  at 8.00am  and visited  the above  child , I  arrived here and found  her step mother .The child had gone to  school.   She told me that the child is fine. He is 14years old .He is in grade seven at Katiithi primary school. He is average ,her  health  is good On  side of the garden, they have  harvested  5kg   of beans ,  but  on  side of  maize  they  have not harvested  anything . The house is fair, the goats are well kept. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from   Psalm 131.

I arrived here and found his brother. The child had gone to school. These two children are total orphans and they stay alone.  Ndolo   is in form one at Kithangaini secondary school. He is average, his health is good.  His  brother   is a casual  laborer   .I  encouraged   the  brother  to   work  hard  and  to know  that he  has  a  responsibility  of taking  care  of his brother.  I also  encouraged  him  to  attend   church  I had a wonderful  time  with  this  brother, I also  counseled  him on  drug  abuse   and he really  appreciated . Before  I left, I prayed  for their needs  and  we shared  the word  of God  from  Proverbs  12;1-3

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child.   The child is a total orphan and stays with her aunt. Their home is situated at Makueni  district.   I arrived here and found her aunt. The child had gone to school. The child is H.I.V positive and attends   clinic at   Tawa   every month.  She told me that the child is fine and she is doing well.  He is 16 years   old   . He is in grade seven .He is below average .His health is not good; he has rushes on the skin. I encouraged the aunt to continue showing love to the child. I had  a wonderful time  with this aunt ,she  told  me some  of the hard ships  she is facing  and I encouraged  her with the word  of  God.  The goats are well kept, the house is fair.  Before  I  left , I prayed  for  their needs  and we shared  the  word of  God  from Psalm 77;1-8

22.Janet  Mbithe, sponsored by Tim and Kathy Curran

I left at home at 8.oo am and visited the above child.  I arrived here and found the child together with her mother since they have closed schools. . They stay at Masii market. The child is nine years old.  She is in grade   five at Masii town ship .She is average, her health is good. The mother is single and she earns her living through casual laborer.  I encouraged the child to be obedient and to work very hard on her studies. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from   Luke 7; 11-17

I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother. Her mother is alive and works at Nairobi as a house wife.  Their home is near Masii  market. The child is 13 years old. She is in grade six at Ray academy primary school.  She is average   , her health is good.  The house is fair, the goats are well kept.  The climate is very hot and it is very dry so they have not harvested anything in their garden. I had  a wonderful time  with the  child  ,we talked  about  the challenges which young people are facing  and how  we can overcome them. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 3; 1-6

24.Jacinta  Muthio, sponsored by Dave and Lonnie Wahlgren and family

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her mother.  They were looking after cattle.  The child is 16 years old.  She is in form one at St Stephen secondary school.  She is average, her health is good.  This widow is a casual laborer. She also works hard on her garden but this time because of lack of enough rainfall, she will not harvest anything. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. Well, I had  a wonderful  time  with the child   We discussed  many things  concerning  behavior  and   her dreams  as her future is concerned. I encouraged her to stand firm. Before I left, I prayed for their needs, and we shared the word of God from 1ST Timothy 4; 12

25 Mumbua  Mulwa, sponsored by Roland and Betty Pera

I left at home at 8.ooam and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. They were doing some cleaning. I was welcomed in the house.  The child is 18 years old.  She is in form three at Rock View High School in Morang’s   county. She is average, her health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept.    This child is saved as she had shared her testimony to me .She attends church at A.I.C.  Kivandini .She is a Sunday school teacher.  I shared  with her many thing s and we were blessed  it is my prayer  that  the lord  will carry the good work He has  begun  in her to accomplishment .  Before I left from this house, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 119; 1-11.

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child .I arrived here and found her mother. I was welcomed at the house.  She told me that the child has completed the course she was taking of catering and she is now working   at Nairobi.   How happy I was to hear that the child has come out successfully? Glory to God. Well, the mother is has appreciated your support, May God bless you. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Exodus 7; 12  I left from this  house and proceeded on to  No35

I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother.  They were looking after the goats. The child is 12years old. She is in grade six at Kithangaini primary school. She is average, her health is good.  The roof of the house had fallen down and they have repaired, but the house has a lot of cracks on the walls .They are   requesting for support.   On side of the garden, they have not harvested anything. Before I left  I prayed  for their needs and we shared  the word of God  from  Ephesus  6;1-6.

28.Musembi   Nthenya  (The  blind), sponsored by Jimmi Kimuyu

I left at home at 7.00 am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with his grandparents. The home is situated at Makueni   district. Here the climate is hot and dry   . Since the end of December, it has not rained .It is just like our place it has not rained.  We are praying   God to extend His mercies to us. The child is 13 years old. He is in grade seven at Thika school for the blind. He is average, his health is good.  I had a wonderful time with this child. Despite the fact that he is blind   , he is very bright .God has a good purpose for him. On side of the garden, they have not harvested anything. The goats are well kept. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Acts 3; 1-9

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child.  I arrived   here and found her mother. She told me that the child is still at Nairobi doing casual laboring. The child is 20years old. He completed form four on 2017 and obtained a mean grade of C- .           Her mother told me that    he is fine and his health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. Before I left , I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word  of God  from   Psalm  40 ;1-6.  I

I arrived here and found the child together   with her grandmother   . The child was very busy doing some assignments.  He told me that he is putting extra efforts on his studies to improve his results. He had scored    267 marks and he has repeated   grade eight at ilinge   primary school. His health is good.    The grandmother   was very thankful because of repairing her house .She was very happy and appreciated very much.   The house is now good. On side of the garden, they have not harvested anything. The goats are well kept. Before I left , I prayed  for their  needs  and we shared  the word of  God from  Philippians  4;13   .

The child is 10years old. She is in grade five at Nguluni primary   school.  She is average, her health is good. I  encouraged  the  children to study hard  and to be  obedient  to the word of God .The  house  is fair ,the goats  are well  kept. On side of the garden they have not harvested anything. Before I left, I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word of God  from  Luke  6;20-26

I left at home at 8.00 am and visited the above children. I arrived  here  and  found  the  two children  , their  grandmother and  Job’s  mother  who  is crippled   and  abnormal. Their home is situated at Makueni   district. The children were clearing the garden. Well, Eric is 16 years old, he is in Form one at St Stephen   secondary school. He is average , his  health  is good .While  Job  is  15 years  old .He is in grade  eight  at kakima  primary school.  He is average, his health is good. I had a wonderful time with these children.  I   counseled   them   and   encouraged them with the word of God and they appreciated my visit. Before  I left , I prayed  for  their  needs  and  we shared  the word of God from  ECCLASITES   3;1-9 .

34.Mercy  Mutheu, sponsored by Kay Hopkins and famiy

I left at home and visited the above child.  I arrived here and   found the child together with her mother.  This mother is a H.I V positive, she is single and   has six children.   She earns her living through casual laboring.  The family is very poor. Well ,the child is  14years  old, she is in grade  six  at Kaani   primary  school , she is below  average ,  her  health is good.  I had  a good time  with  the children  , I  encouraged  them with the  word  of God and they were  blessed  . They have a small garden but they cultivate it poorly because of lack of man power. The goats are well kept. Before I left , I prayed  for their needs and we shared  the word of God  from  1ST Timothy 3;1-5

I  left  at  home at 8.00am and visited  the above child ,I arrived here and found the child  together  with her mother.  I was welcomed in the house. The child is 10years old .He is in grade four at A.I.C Katheka  primary school. He is average, his health is good. The roof of the house is damaged and we are planning to repair.  I will send you the photos after we repair. Well, in this place it is very hot, they have not harvested anything. Before  I left  I prayed  for their  needs  and we shared  the word of God  from John  5;1-8 .The  goats  are well kept.

He is average, his health is good.  The children stays with their grandmother, their father is alive but he is always drunk.   The house where the children sleep is fair. They are requesting to be supported with mattress. The goats are well kept. On the side of the garden they have not harvested anything.  I had  a wonderful  time with this  children , I shared  with the many things  and they were blessed .  Before I left, I prayed for their needs.

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. The child was clearing the garden. We are expecting the rain but it has not rained. Well , this  child is  18years  old  ,He has competed  grade  eight  but he was  below average  .He scored  176 marks . The child is gifted   in mason. Now the child wants to join polytechnic to be trained on masonry but her mother cannot afford. Therefore the   child is hereby requesting    whether he can be supported with school fees. I still had a good time with this child. He is saved and attends church at A.I.C Maiani . I encouraged   him  to stand firm and to trust upon  the Lord. .Before  I left, I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word of God  from  Psalm  77;1-8

I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above children.  I arrived here  and found  the children  together  with their mother who is single  and abnormal .They were  very happy when they saw me and they welcomed me in their home. Syombua is 13years old. She is in grade six at Kawaa  primary school. She is average, her health is good. While Kyalo  is nine years old, he is in grade three at the same school.  His health is good. The family is still in poor shape. They really need support.  We are very grateful   for your love and kindness may God bless you. The goats are well kept. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 121.

40.Mulwa  kilonzo, sponsored by Peggy Dollard

I left at home and visited the above child.  I arrived here and found the child together with her mother.  The mother  was doing some  house  hold  activities  while  the child  was  busy in the  house  revising  . I was welcomed in the house.  The child is 17 years old. He is in form three at Kamanzi   secondary school. He is average, his health is good.  The mother who is a widow is a casual laborer. Well, I had a wonderful time with this child.  I encouraged   the  child  to  live  a  holy  life  and to avoid  bad company  for they spoil  good  character and to walk  as wise  men  and  he told me   that  he will not disappoint  us even  he  himself  is  aiming  at university . So   I told him that with God everything is possible what he need is   to study so hard.  We shared some verses from the bible and we were blessed.   The goats are well kept. On side of the garden, they have not harvested anything, here it is very dry and the climate is very dry.  It has not rained since the end of December. Before I left I prayed for their needs.

41 . Mulela   Kaleli, sponsored by David and Ingrid Waggoner

I had arranged with mulela’s mother to meet at kabaa.    I left at home at 7.00 am     using a motorbike and   went to Kabaa.  I arrived here and met with her.  I  was  carrying  the food  of her child  because     She had not  come  for it  so I gave her  the food  and  She was very happy .She told me that at their   place   it has not rained and people are starving for food .  Well the child is 14years old.  He is in grade eight at Kyumbuni   primary school. He is average, his health is good. This mother is single and earns her living through casual laboring. I  had a wonderful  time  with  this  mother , I encouraged her  with a word  of God and we were  blessed   .  Before we diverted, I prayed for her needs.

I left at home at 8.00 and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. In this area, it is very hot and dry.  I was welcomed in the house.  The child is nine years old. He is in grade three at Katheka   B primary school. He is average, her health is good. There is no improvement of the house   but it  is  not bad. The goats are well kept. On side of the garden, they have not harvested anything. The mother has knowledge of hair salon but she lacks capital to buy materials. Her husband is a live but he is always drunk.  She earns her living through   casual laboring.  Before  I left  I prayed  for their needs  and we shared  the word  of God  from   Mark  6;1-14
