VISITATION TO SPONSORED CHILDREN OF KIMUYU AND DR.JOHN FOUNDATION BY PASTOR JACINTA.
AIM : To visit the sponsored children and know how they are going on . I also wanted to counsel them and encourage them to behave well during this long vacation (holiday) of 7 weeks .
On 19th March I paid a visit to some of the sponsored children.
1.Wanza Syombua No 18
2 Muia Syombua No 19
I Left at home and visited the above children . I arrived here and found the children together with their grandmother. They were looking after the cattle .I was welcomed in the home. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the children .We shared on behavior .I encouraged them to take care of themselves, to fear God and to obey His commandments .I encouraged them to stay at home and assist their grandmother. Wanza is 17 years old, she is in form three at Kasolongo Secondary school her health is good. While Muia is 19years old. He is in form two in the same school. His health is good… The family attends church at Mamiloki Catholic Church .The children are fully committed to the work of God. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Daniel 1; 8.
On 22nd March 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
3. Mutungi kimatu No 10
I left at home and visited the above child. Their home is situated at makueni county, Kiteta division. I arrived here and found the child together with her aunt . The child is H.I.V positive and his health is poor .He attends clinic at Tawa every month .The child told me that he was sick for the last one week and attended the hospital at tawa and he was treated ,he is now feeling well but his body is weak .I encouraged the child to take heart ,God loves him very much and he has a good plan for his life. He is 16years old .He is in grade seven at Imale primary school .The house is fair. The aunt is a casual laborer. I encouraged the aunt to show a lot of love to the child. I encouraged the child to endure hardship and wait upon the lord. Before ,I left ,I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 121;1-8.
0n 23rd March 2021 I paid a visit to other sponsored children.
4 .Ngusye Ngui No 32
I left at home and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her siblings and their mother. They were in their small garden applying manure. We are expecting rainfall on the month of April and May. They told me that they want to practice early planting. I encouraged them to keep it up. The child is 13 years old, she is in grade six at Kyaitha primary school. She is average, her health is good. Their mother is a widow and she is a casual laborer. I had a wonderful time with the children, I encouraged them to remain at home and assist their mother. We also shared on the challenges affecting young children of today and I encouraged them to beware .Before I left ,I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 3 .;1-5. I left from this house and proceeded on to No 22.
5. Kimeu Mutua No 22
I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. The child was busy in the house doing revision. He told me that they were given a lot of assignment in school and he was trying to complete. He is 17 years old .He is in form two at Kavumbu secondary school. He is average, his health is good. The mother is a widow and earns her living through casual laboring .I encouraged the child to behave well especially this time they are having long vacation. I had a wonder full time with the child, we shared many things and he was blessed. He attends church at Kyaitha A.B.C whereby he is a Sunday school teacher. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 34; 1-6.
On 24th March 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
6 Mercy Ndunge No 23
I left at home at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. Their home is situated at Mbooni west ,Makueni county . I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother .They were cutting grass. Here the climate is cool and wet. Well, the child is 16years old, she is in form one at Tumaini girls secondary school, she is average, her health is good. The child attends church at A.I.C kyeenthei . I had a wonderful time with the child, I encouraged her to behave well, we shared on the challenges affecting young people of today and she was blessed. I encouraged her to stand firm and to endure hardships .Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 1
On 25th March 2021 I paid a visit to other sponsored children.
7. Ndolo Mwania No 11.
I left at home and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child, he stays with his brother but his had gone for casual laboring. I was welcomed in the home. The child is 19years old .He is in form two at Kithangaini secondary school, he is average, and his health is good. The child attends church at A.I.C Kithangathini whereby he is a Sunday school teacher. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the child ,we shared on the challenges affecting young children of today .i encouraged him to stand firm ,trust upon the lord and to endure hard ships . I also encouraged the child to avoid bad company especially this time they are having a very long vacation .The child is well behaved as I learned from the neighbors and I was very happy. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 3; 7-12 . I left from this house and proceeded on to No 15
8 .Cosmus Ngumbi No 15.
I arrived here and found her step mother .The child was at school doing K.C.P.E exam. I was welcomed in the home. She told me that the child is fine .He is in grade eight at Katiithi primary school and they are finalizing their exam. The child is average so we are hoping that he will do well .I had a wonderful time with the step mother .i encouraged her take care of the child. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Isaiah 43; 1-3.
On 26th March 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
9. Eric Mumo No 27
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child .Their home is situated at Mbooni west . I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother. They were cutting grass .Here the climate is cool and dry. I was welcomed in the home. The child is 12years old ,he is in grade five at mavindu primary school ,he is average ,his health is good .The family experiences a problem in getting water but I encouraged them to take heart because we are expecting rainfall from APRIL.I had a wonderful time with the child .I encouraged him to be obedient to her grandmother and all other elder people . I also encouraged the grandmother to trust upon the lord. Before I left I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 127.

10. Jacinta Muthio No 39
I left at home and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. They were preparing their garden for the coming rainfall. The mother is a widow and she is a casual laborer. I was welcomed in the home .The child is 17years old .She is in form two at Kaani Lion secondary school .She is average ,Her health is good . I had a wonderful time with the child .i shared with her on the challenges facing young children today. I encouraged her to be care full and to take care of herself .in our country many young girls in primary and secondary are pregnant and others have given birth to children and they are under age. This happened when schools were closed down because of corona virus .Before I left I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Corinthians 6; 12-20

12.Denis Mutua Mavuti No 25
I left at home and visited the above children .I arrived here and found the children together with their mother .They were applying manure on their small garden .The mother is a widow and she is H.I.V positive . She earns her living through casual laboring. The house is fair, the goats are well kept .Musau is 14years old, he is in grade seven at king’atuani primary school .He is average, his health is good. While Mutua is 17years old .He is in form two at Tututha secondary school, he is average, his health is good. I had a wonderful time with the children , I encouraged them to remain at home and assist their mother .I told them to be care full and to avoid bad company because many young boys have involved themselves in beer taking and taking bhangs .i encouraged them to avoid all these and to fear the lord .They assured me that they are going to avoid them and study hard because they want to do well in their exams .How happy I was?.Before I left I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 3;1-10.
On 31st March 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
13.Bahati Maingi No 36
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child; his siblings and their mother .They were preparing their garden for the coming rainfall. Here the house was broken down by a strong wind .They are sleeping in the kitchen. But they have started to build another house. They are hereby requesting whether we can support them .The mother is a widow, she was left with six children, and she earns her living through casual laboring. I encouraged them to trust upon the lord. The child is 14years old, he is in grade seven, he is average, and his health is good. I had a wonderful time with the children, we shared on behavior, and I encouraged them to behave well. Before I left I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Hebrews 12; 1-2.
On 1st April 2021 I paid a visit to other sponsored children.
14.Wambua Mutanu No 28
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child together with her mother who is not normal and their grandmother. I was welcomed in the house. Here they have prepared their small garden .They told me that they are planning to plant maize and beans. We are hoping that it will rain very soon. Well, the child is 13 years old ,he is in grade six at mamiloki primary school ,he is average ,his health is good .The house is fair ,the goats are well kept . I had a wonderful time with the child .I encouraged him to be obedient to her grandmother. I also encouraged him to study hard and to behave well. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 37; 1-8. I left from this house and proceeded on to No13.
15. Mwendwa Ndinda No 13(Handicapped and abnormal)
I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother. I was welcomed in the home. The child is 19years old. He cannot sit, walk, talk or hold anything .He always needs a lot of care and attention .The child has been taken to different hospitals but he has no change .I encouraged the grandmother to stand firm and wait upon the lord. The house is fair the goats are well kept .The grand mother is requesting whether he can be supported with a wheel chair .I had a wonderful time with the grandmother, We shared many things and she was blessed .Before I left ,I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from psalm 77;1-8.
On 6ths April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
16. Lillan Mutheu No 41
I left at home and visited the above child .Their home is situated at Mbuuni Kathiiani division .I arrived here and found the child together with her siblings and their mother who is not normal. I was welcomed in the home. Here the climate is very cool. The child is 13years old, she is in grade seven, she is average, and her health is good. The family is in poor shape .They told me that the grandmother had gone out for casual laboring. I had a wonderful time with the children ,they told me that they have been assisting their mother in fetching water and collecting firewood .I shared with them on behavior and I encouraged them to behave well. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from psalm 23; 1-6.

17. Kelvin Muthama No 14.
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child .I arrived here and found her grandmother .The child had gone to school. He is in form four; he is doing his K.C.S.E exam. He is 18 years old, his health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the grandmother. I encouraged her to give the child a humble time so that he comes out successful. On side of the garden they have prepared and they are waiting for the rain. Before I left. I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from psalm 32.i left from this house and proceeded on to No 12.
18. Norah Mutinda No 12.
I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother. They were busy in their small garden planting .It has not rained but they told me that they want to plant before it rains. The child is 16years old, she is in form one at Kikelenzu secondary school. She is average, her health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the child. We shared on the challenges affecting young children of today. I encouraged her to beware and to be careful. I encouraged her to stay at home and assist her grandmother. The child appreciated my coming and assured me that he wills not a shame us. Before I left ,I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Exodus 17;1-8.
On 8th April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
19. Musembi Nthenya No 17(The blind)
I left at home and visited the above child .Their home is situated at Makueni county . I arrived here and found the child and his grandfather. Here the climate is cool and wet. The home is situated on a hilly place .In this area it had rained for two days and people are now busy on their garden planting…The child is 15 years old ,he is in grade eight at Thika school for the blind. His average ,his health is good . The child had set for his K.C.P.E exam. I had a wonderful time with him; he told me that the exam was fair, he is sure that he will come out successfully. We shared many things and he was blessed. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 23.
On 9ths April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
20.Muuo Mutinda No 21.
I left at home and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child together with her mother who is a widow .I was welcomed in the home. Muuo is brother to wavinya and they told me that she is doing well in her hew home .Muuo is 12years old; he is in grade three at Kyeenthei primary school. He is below average because he has a mental problem, .His health is good .The family is still in poor shape .The widow earns her living through casual laboring. The house is fair as you repaired for them, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the family .I encouraged them to stand firm especially this time whereby we have economic crisis because of corona virus. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 34; 19.
On 12th April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
21.Mumbua Mulwa No 16.
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found her mother .The child is in form four at Rock view High School. She is doing her K.C.S.E exam. Her health is good as her mother told me. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. The mother is a widow and she earns her living through casual laboring. She told me that she is happy because her daughter is completing form four despite of the challenges she has faced .She is also very happy because of your support .She is appreciating very much. I had a wonderful time with the widow, we shared many things and we were blessed .Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from psalm 62.

22. Mary Munyao No 35.
I left at home and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother. The child is now a total orphan because her mother has left them . .She was working as a maid and her body was found thrown somewhere in the busy near their home .It was very sad. Well, the child is 14years old; she is in grade seven at Kithangaini primary school. Her health is good. I encouraged the family to endure hard ships. We shared on Philippians 4; 4-7 and they felt encouraged .Before I left, I prayed for their needs.

23. Brian Muema Kioko No 29.
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child with his siblings and their mother .They were busy in their garden because it has rained. They were planting maize and beans. I congratulated them for their good work and I encouraged them to continue. The family is in poor, shape. The mother is a widow and she has six children .The first born is in form three. She has another child who has completed grade eight and she is looking forward to join form one. She is a casual laborer. Well, the child is nine years old, He is in grade three at Mamiloki primary school .He is average, his health is good . The house is fair as you repaired for them .I had a wonderful time with the children ,I encouraged them to behave well .Before I left ,I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Mark 4;35-41.

I left at home at 8, 00 am and visited the above child. Their home is situated at Makueni county Kakima division . I arrived here and found the children with their grandmother and Job’s mother who is not normal. The children were very busy in their garden planting because it has rained. They were planting Maize and beans .In our area we have two rain seasons .Last season we did not harvest anything .we had received very little rain fall .This season we hope that, we will get more rainfall. Well. I encouraged them to work hard. Eric is 17 years old, he is in form two at St Stephen Secondary school .He is average, and his health is good. While Job is 16years old .He is in form one in the same school. He is average, his health is good. I had a wonderful time with the children. I encouraged them to study very hard. I also encouraged them to behave well .Before I left , I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 3;1-5.
On 16ths April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
26.Mulela Kaleli No 3
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child .Their home is situated at Kangundo Kyanzavi. I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. Here it had rained and they have planted but the seeds have not germinated. Well, the child had set for K.C.P.E exam and he had scored well .How happy he was. I was also very happy glory to God. He had scored 356 marks out of 500. I congratulated him for good performance. Now the mother who is single and works as a casual laborer is requesting whether you can support the child with school fees to further his education .The home is in poor shape and the child had repeated grade eight because of lack of school fees. I had a wonderful time with the family; I encouraged them to trust upon the lord. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 40;1-5.
On 17ths April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
27. Mwikali Mwatu No 33.
I left at home and visited the above child. I arrived here and found her father. He was looking after the cattle. The child is in form four at Muthetheni girls and they are going on with their exam. The father told me that the child is fine and her health is good. Well, I had a wonderful time with the father .He is very thankful because of your support. He earns her living through casual laboring but the lord has been faith full to him. He was left with six children and the last born is now in form three. I encouraged him to continue trusting upon the Lord. On side of the garden ,he has planted and the seeds have germinated .Before I left ,I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Luke 11;5-12.

28. Faith Ndinda Mutheu No 1
I left at home at 8.00am and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her siblings and their mother. The mother is single and earns her living through casual laboring. I was welcomed in the home. The mother is very thankful and happy because you have assisted her in constructing a two roomed house, may God bless you abundantly .The child is nine years old, she is in grade two at Kasolongo primary school .She is average, and her health is good. I had a wonderful time with the family ,we shared many things .I encouraged the children to behave well .I also encouraged them to work hard in their studies .Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm one .

29.Grace Kavoo Nzioki No 26
I left at home at 8.ooam and visited the above child .Their home is situated at Makueni county. I arrived here and found the child, her siblings and their mother who is H.I.V positive .I was welcomed in the home .Here it had rained and they have planted. Well, the child is 13years old, she is in grade seven, and her health is good. The house is fair as you repaired for them .I had a wonderful time with the family. I encouraged the children to put more efforts in their studies; I also encouraged them to assist their mother in the garden because her body is weak. And I also encouraged them to behave well. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 77.

30.Mwendwa Wambua No 42
I left at home at 8.ooam and visited the above child. I arrived here and found her grandmother. The child is in form four at kikelenzu Secondary school. They are doing their K.C.S.E exam. The grandmother told me that the child is fine and his health is good. The family is in poor shape, the grandmother is very thankful for your support .she is appreciating very much. She is also very happy because her grandson is going to complete form four despite of the challenges she has faced. I had a wonderful time with the grandmother I congratulated her for supporting her grandson and because she has other orphans I encouraged her to take heart and to trust upon the lord . The house is fair, the goats are well kept. .Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Mark 6; 45-51.
On 22nd April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
31.Kanini Musyoka No 4
I left at home and visited the above child . I arrived here and found the child together with her young sister and their mother. The mother is a widow and she earns her living through casual laboring .i was welcomed in the home. Here they have planted maize and beans on their small garden and they have germinated but it has ceased raining. Well, the child is 12years old, she is in grade six at nguluni primary school, she is average, and her health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the family .I encouraged them to work hard on their garden .i also encouraged the child to study hard and to behave well. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 62.

32. Stephen M Nzioka No 7
I left at home at 8.ooam and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. They were busy in their garden cultivating .They have planted maize and beans .The crops are doing well but it has ceased raining. Well, the child is 11years old; he is in grade five at A.I.C Katheka Primary school. He is average, his health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the family. I encouraged them to work hard on their garden. I encouraged them to plant drought resistant crops like green grams and sorghum. I also encouraged them to trust upon the lord. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Mark 2; 21-31. I left from this house and proceeded on to NO 8
33. Mulela Musembi No 8
I arrived here and found the child together with his siblings and their grandmother. They were busy in their garden cultivating. I was welcomed in the home. The child was extra happy because he had done well in his K.C.P.E exam. He told me that he is looking forward to join form one. He had scored 305 marks out of 500. I congratulated him for his good work .Now the grandmother is requesting whether you can support the child because she is not able to educate the child. I had a wonderful time with the children, we shared on the challenges affecting young children of today and I encouraged them to be careful. I also encouraged them to trust upon the lord. Before I left from this house, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 2; 1-5.
On 26th April I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
34.Muasya Kavete No 6.
I left at home and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child together with her grandmother. The child was busy in their small garden cultivating. It has not rained but the crops are doing well .we are crying to the lord so that he may bless us with rainfall. The child is 17years old .He is in form one at Katheka Secondary School .He is average, his health is good. The house is fair as you have repaired for them .The goats are well kept .I had a wonderful time with the child; I encouraged him to study hard. I also encouraged him to behave well especially this time they are at home for a very long vacation. I encouraged the child to stay at home and assist her grandmother. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Hebrews 12; 1-3.

35.John Musembi Nthiani No 7
I Left at home and visited the above child. I arrived here and found the child with his siblings and their mother. They were busy in their garden cultivating. The rainfall has ceased for two weeks but people are very busy in their garden. I was welcomed in the home .The child is 11years old; he is in grade four at A.I.C Katheka primary school. He is average, her health is good. The mother is the only bread winner in the family. Her husband is alive but he is always drunk, I encouraged the children to study hard so that they can improve the living standard of their home. The house is fair as you repaired for them .The goats are well kept… Before I left I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from James 1; 12. I left from this house and proceeded on to No 9
36. Mulwa Kilonzo No 9
I arrived here and found the child together with her mother. The child was in form four at Kamanzi Secondary school. He has completed his K.C.S.E exam and his now at home waiting for results .He told me that he is thanking the lord for the way He has been faith full to him .He is also happy because of your support .Together with her mother they have appreciated. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the child .I first congratulated him for standing firm and completing form four. After lock down many children were not able to go back to school because they had involved themselves in bad companies which ruined their future. I encouraged him to remain at home and assist her mother as he waits for results so that he can further his Education. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Psalm 103 1-2.
On 28th April 2021 I paid a visit to another sponsored child.
37. Mercy Mutheu No 40
I left at home and visited the above child .I arrived here and found the child with her siblings and their mother who is a widow. They were very busy in their garden .It has not rained in this area but people are still working very hard on their garden. Here they have planted maize and beans, they are good but they need rain. The child is 15 years old, she is in grade seven at kaani primary school .Her health is good. The house is fair, the goats are well kept. I had a wonderful time with the children .I encouraged them to behave well .I also encouraged them to stay at home and assist their mother for the devil is very active and he is targeting young people. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Proverbs 3; 5

I left at home and visited the above children. I arrived here and found the children with their mother who is not normal; they were in their garden cultivating. The mother is not normal but she knows how to cultivate. They have planted maize and beans in their small garden .The crops are good but they need rain fall. We are praying to God so that He may extend his mercy to us .The children are fine. Shombua is 14years old ,she is in grade seven at Kawaa primary school .She is average ,her health is good .While kyalo is 10 years old ,he is in grade four at the same school . His health is good. I had a wonderful time with the family .I encouraged them to trust upon the lord . I also encouraged the children to be behaving well and to study very hard. Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Ephesus 6; 1-6.

40.Janet Mbithe No 2
I visited the above child on the above date. They stay at Masii market . I arrived here and found the child together with her sister and their mother. I was welcomed in the house. The mother is single and works as a casual laborer. She told me that casual jobs are rare because many people have lost their jobs because of corona. I encouraged her to trust upon the lord for He is aware and He is able to change the situation. The child is 11years old .She is in grade six at Masii town ship .She is average, her health is good. I encouraged the child to be obedient and to study very hard .Before I left, I prayed for their needs and we shared the word of God from Mathew 8;5-13
